Q. How many sections are there in CBSE Class 10 Social Science Sample Question Paper 2023?
There are total five sections in CBSE Class 10 Social Science Sample Question Paper 2023
The question paper consists of five sections – A, B, C, D and E. The paper contains 37 questions. All questions are mandatory.
Section A – Questions 1 to 20 are MCQs of 1 mark each.
Section B – Questions No. 21 to 24 are very short answer type questions of 2 marks each. The answer to each question should not exceed 40 words.
Section C contains short answer type questions Q.25 to Q.29 carrying 3 marks each. The answer to each question should not exceed 60 words
Section D – Questions No. 30 to 33 are long answer type questions of 5 marks each. The answer to each question should not exceed 120 words.
Section E – Questions No. 34 to 36 are case questions with three sub-questions and carry 4 marks each
Section F – Question No. 37 is map based, 5 marks with two parts, History 37a (2 marks) and Geography 37b (3 marks).
